ON TRACK FOR 2011 GRAND RAID

The Organisation Committee has the pleasure of confirming the 2011 Grand Raid edition for the 19^th and 20^th of August

The diverse changes effected during the 2010 Grand Raid have brought a number of lessons to the Organisation Committee.

Based on these experiences, feed-back and propositions gathered after the 21^st edition, the Organisation Committee have brought the following changes about, which will be applied in 2011 and beyond.

-         The finance of inscription is revised and lowered and is progressively less according to the fixed calendar.

-         The four points of departure Verbier, Nendaz, Heremence and Evolene are confirmed.

-         For the long haul from Verbier, the old track has been re-instated with the cancellation of the Tracouet ascent.

-         The tradition of a souvenir prize is preserved.
