TECHNICAL CONTROL

Opening Times : 11am to 7pm

The executive committee disclaims all liability in cas of theft and informs you that there will be a possibility of attaching your bikes if you take your padlocks to take better advantages of animations during the day.

This is for your safety... and that of every other competitor.

Technical control is obligatory. Participants whose bikes have undergone a pre-check with one of the organisation’s recommended bike specialists may have a rapid and simplified inspection. Nevertheless, the organisation reserves the right to refuse the registration of a participant whose bicycle fails the inspection.

We invite all competitors to arrive early enough to attend a central checkpoint to ensure the pristine condition of their bike.

To avoid blatant breaches of bicycle conditions required by the Grand Raid, the committee has decided that the first fifteen minutes of control and work for each bike will be offered free.

Any further work required will be charged at the rate of CHF. 20. - per fifteen minutes (to be paid in cash). In addition, payment must be made at that time for any parts required and fitted.

On race day technical staff will be stationed along the course and will do everything possible to repair your bike in the event of a mechanical problem.
