To live with intensity your Grand Raid use special transport by bus!CarPostal, official carrier of the event, will mobilize substantial means to transport in optimal conditions  riders as well as their equipment. For example, big trailers will allow to repatriate bikes safely without dismantling.

 

Novelty since the 2010 edition!

The transport of bikes in special trailers will be improved. For example, cartons of protection will be added between each bikes. It should allow to limit at most the risks of scratches on frames. The number of bikes loaded in each trailer will be more lowered.

The Grand Raid Committee decided to establish a full range of organised transportation. These allow you to focus solely on race, and so to avoid making you waste time in traffic jams or in search of a parking space. You will keep all your energy for the Grand Raid.

Feel free to subscribe to one of the transportation package (payable at the same time as the registration).

This package includes:

  • Transport by bus on Friday evenings from Sion to Hérémence, Evolène, Nendaz or Verbier, bike transportation and equipment (bag) included.
  • Buses depart from the Barracks (great free parking space available). The schedules of departure will be later communicated.
  • Transport back from Grimentz to Sion or to your place of departure on Saturday after the race. Including secure transport of the bikes. The schedules of return will be later communicated.
  

 

   

> > Package of departure (Saturday morning) and return to Sion – Price CHF 44.-

     

This package includes:

  • Transport by bus early on Saturday from Sion to Hérémence, Nendaz or Evolène, bike transportation and equipment (bag) included. For Verbier: only on Friday evening (see above).
  • Buses depart from the Barracks (great free parking space available). The schedules of departure will be later communicated.
  • Transport back from Grimentz to Sion or to your place of departure on Saturday after the race. Including secure transport of the bikes. The schedules of return will be later communicated.

   This package includes:   

  • Transport by bus from Grimentz to Sion or to your place of departure (Hérémence, Nendaz, Evolène or Verbier), including secure transport of the bike.
  • The schedules of return from Grimentz will be later communicated.

 

 

> > Package of departure for Friday at destination of Evolène, Nendaz or Hérémence – Price CHF 17.-

This package includes:

  • Transport by bus from Sion to Nendaz, Hérémence or Evolène, bicycle transportation included.
  • Possibility of going to the place of departure on Friday night (one day before the race).
  • Buses depart from the Barracks (great free parking space available). The schedules of departure will be later communicated.

This package includes:

  • Transport by bus from Sion to Nendaz, Hérémence or Evolène, bicycle transportation included.

 This package includes: 

  • Transport on the Friday night (one day before the race) by bus from Sion to Verbier, bicycle transportation included.

For accompanying persons and spectators



Transport for accompanying persons and spectators will be planned from Sierre, to Grimentz.
